Built for Financial Analysts Who Want Real Skills

We started Xilvex because too many bright people were stuck using basic Excel tricks when they could be building sophisticated financial models that actually drive business decisions.

Why We Started This

Back in 2020, I was consulting for a mid-sized manufacturing company in Novi Sad. Their financial analyst – smart guy, economics degree – was spending entire afternoons copying and pasting numbers between spreadsheets. When I asked about their forecasting model, he showed me a basic template with hardcoded formulas.

That's when it hit me. There's this huge gap between what finance programs teach and what analysts actually need to know. Universities focus on theory, while most online courses just scratch the surface with generic examples.

So we built something different. Real financial modeling skills taught through actual business scenarios that analysts face every day in Serbian companies and beyond.

What Drives Our Approach

Practical Over Perfect

We teach models that work in real business environments, not just textbook examples. Sometimes that means building around data limitations or working with incomplete information.

Context Matters

Financial modeling for a Belgrade tech startup looks different than modeling for a Kragujevac manufacturer. We cover the variations that actually matter in practice.

Build to Last

Anyone can create a model that works once. We focus on building robust frameworks that handle changing assumptions and scale with business growth.

How We Actually Help

Most of our participants are working analysts who need to level up their modeling skills without taking six months off. Our approach focuses on the techniques you'll actually use – scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and building dynamic forecasts that adapt to real business changes.

We also cover the softer skills that make the difference between a good analyst and a great one. How to present model results to executives who don't care about your formulas. How to build models that other people can actually understand and modify.
